Happy Hearts has a full time cook certified in Safe Food Handling and all food is prepared on site. The menu rotates on a 4-6 week schedule and typically is changed seasonally. Happy Hearts follows the guidelines set out in Canada's Guide for Healthy Eating and the kitchen is inspected twice a year by the Grey Bruce Health Unit.
